Live Your Way Australia’s response to COVID-19, is to prioritise the health and wellbeing of our caregivers, clients and community.

Live Your Way Australia continues to monitor and follow guidelines set by the Federal Department of Health, the World Health Organisation and local and state health agencies in the delivery of home care during the Coronavirus crisis.

We have put stringent COVID-19 health and safety measures in place to help protect our staff and clients. Live Your Way Australia is in constant communication with health authorities and performs regular check-ins with staff to ensure that they are aware of the latest policies and requirements to maintain the health of our clients and safety for themselves.


People with coronavirus may experience symptoms such as:

  • fever
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • shortness of breath
  • runny rose
  • headache
  • muscle and joint pains
  • loss of smell
  • altered sense of taste
  • nausea, loss of appetite and fatigue

If you have concerns about your health, speak to a doctor.

To protect yourself and others and help slow the spread of COVID-19 you should:

  • Not enter a service if you are experiencing symptoms of a respiratory disease, you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have come into contact with a person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water including before and after eating and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Use alcohol-based hand sanitisers when you can’t use soap and water
  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser
  • Observe physical (social) distancing by staying at home when you are unwell, keeping a distance of 1.5 metres between you and other people whenever possible and avoid physical greetings such as handshaking, hugs and kisses (especially with people at higher risk of developing serious symptoms, such as older people and people with existing health conditions)
  • Get tested if you are sick and think you might have COVID-19.

Information for overseas and interstate travellers:

  • All people arriving in Queensland from overseas are required to quarantine in nominated premises for 14 days
  • Employees, contractors and volunteers, upon arrival at a Live Your Way Australia site after returning from overseas travel, will be asked to sign a Travel Declaration Form
  • All people travelling between states observe Queensland’s border restrictions and quarantine requirements
